All the time, collective action has gained academic attention because of its concerns, consequences, impacts and the fairness of the final treatment. However, the specific analysis of the final results of collective action is very few,or the analysis of the results of collective action is too superficial and simplistic. From the standpoint of the collective action participants, the result of the action is not in two ways: success--to achieve the original objective and to fail--the original goal is not achieved.Although the results of collective action can be summarized as success and failure, the factors that influence success or failure are diverse and complex. Therefore, this paper aims at analyzing and discussing the influencing factors of collective action results, and using the interview method of field research, the author has conducted in-depth understanding and investigation on the causes, past and results of the collective action of two natural villages, and through the difference of the results of the collective action of these two villages, the author believes that there are three main factors that influence the results of collective action: action organization, action strategy and political opportunity structure of action. And these three factors can be further divided into six dimensions:the leadership, the organization, the time of action, the mode of struggle, the type of appeal and the government reaction. Finally,it is concluded that if collective action can have a higher degree of organization under the correct planning of the leader, and the action takes place before the benefits are damaged, which can be recognized and supported by the government in the case of reasonable struggle and the type of appeals that can be accepted by the government.Otherwise, collective action leads to failure. The innovation of this paper lies in the comparison of two cases, the difference and distinction between the above factors of two cases are compared,in this way,the mechanism and process of influencing factors of collective action result are highlighted.
