Research On The Role And Problems Of College Student Village Officials In The Construction Of A New Countryside

The Fifth Plenary Session of the 16~thh CPC Central Committee proposed that building a new socialist countryside is a major historic task in the process of China's modernization.Developed productivity,well-off life,civilizations of countryside,clean and tidy villages,and democratic management are critically related to rural politics,economics,culture and social management,and are both the central requirements of the new rural reconstruction and their overall goal.With the introduction of the policy for the college village officials,thousands of college graduates have devoted themselves to the construction of new countryside,which promoted the construction of rural material and spiritual civilization by their vitality.However,the college graduate village official program is peculiar to the socialist society in our country so that there is no precedent to follow.During implementing the plan,the village officials may also encounter many new problems that will affect the efficiency of this project.The efficiency of this project has drawn much attention from our party and country,which is also the focus of public concern.In this investigation,the Dongpo District of Meishan City was taken as an example to analyze the problems and positive effects reflected by the status of college student village officials to understand the implementation status of this program at the grassroots level and put forward corresponding solutions to further improve this system and promote the new rural construction.
