It has been twenty years since the return of Hong Kong, but the society of Hong Kong is still in turmoil. The "occupy central" movement, the riot in Mong Kok and the "anti national education" movement, all these movements ravel the unrest under seemingly clam. There are various reasons behind the turmoil in Hongkong society, and the reasons for this disturbance are multifaceted.Through the analysis of the "1967 riots" and "occupy central" movement,we can make a more thorough analysis of the immature political participation of the Hong Kong people from the historical dimension. The "1967 riots" reflects the efforts made by the Hong Kong people to oppose exploitation and oppression under the colonial rule of the Hong Kong and British government, while the "occupy central" movement is the instigated by a few people and using violence to challenge the central government, attempted to usurp the illegal means of system design and the pursuit of the so-called "real democracy" and "true general election".Through analysis,we can find that the Hong Kong people formed irrational and immature political participation through its special history and development process.Under this special political participation, the development of "one country, two systems" is also faced with many problems. To solve these problems,we need to work hard and step by step to maintain the healthy and stable development of Hong Kong society.
