The Political Report Of The National Congress Of The Communist Party Of China And The Sinicization Of Marxism

As a mature Marxist party,the Communist Party of China has formed a complete set of internal party rules and regulations in the continuous reform and exploration,and the People's will and opinions have been elevated through this system to the party's theoretical policy.The Political Report of the National Party Congress of the Communist Party of China,as its highest-ranking document,contains the party's guiding thought,major tasks and strategies in a specific historical stage.Being an important form for the party to promote both theoretical and practical innovation,it also serves as the precious textual material in the sinicization process of Marxism.This paper,with Marxist philosophical methodology as the means and the Political Report of the National Party Congress as the object,is aiming to study the transition process from“going the Russian way” to “going our own way” and summarizes the experience and lessons learned from solving China's practical problems independently with Marxism so as to bring into better play the functions of the Political Report of National Party Congress in showing directions,promoting practice,correcting errors and launching innovations.This paper consists of five parts with three as the main body.The first chapter,with Political Report of National Party Congress as the clues,reviews the different stages of Marxism in China including its “setting sail”,“emerging”,“landing in predicament”,“rebirth” and “moving toward glory” so as to highlight the overall context of the sinicization of Marxism and the historical transition from “going the Russian way” to “going our own way”.The second chapter analyses the content related to the localization of Marxism in China in the Political Report of the National Party Congress.The dynamic process of adapting Marxism to Chinese realities has been demonstrated and the major priorities to stick to during the “going our own way” process and the sinicization of Marxism have been analysed in answering what way to take,what banner to hold and what ideological line to adhere to.The third chapter concludes the key content to stick to in “taking our own way” from the contradictory movement embodied in the mutual promotion between the Political Report and the objective practices.That is,to be persistentin practice,convinced in the direction of the great faith and perseverant in the mechanism of error correction and innovation.
