The Current Problems And Countermeasures In Our Country's Letters And Visits

Letters and visits are a way of right relief with Chinese characteristics,and an important way for people to supervise and reflect their demands.Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,China has deepened the reform of the system of letters and visits.The total number of letters and visits has decreased and the order of letters and visits has improved significantly.However,with the deepening of social transformation,there are still many problems in petitions,such as collective visits,overstepping visits and unreasonable visits,which have caused serious harm to the work of letters and visits,even social stability.The reason lies in the imperfection of the system of letters and visits,and the unclear function orientation.On the other hand,petitioners lack trust in the law.Therefore,we should actively explore solutions,guide the masses to appeal in accordance with the law,and bring letters and visits into the orbit of the rule of law as soon as possible,so as to give full play to the advantages of rapid dispute resolution,so as to play a role in maintaining social harmony and stability.
