Research On The Marginalization Of Grassroots Communist Youth League Organizations

The Communist Youth League of China(abbreviated as CYLC)is an advanced youth organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China(abbreviated as CPC),serves as the assistant and reserve of CPC who created the Youth League of China.Since its establishment,the fate of CYLC is closely connected with that of CPC.In view of its indispensable and close connection with the CPC,Youth League occupied an unique and important position in China's Political system.However,nowadays,the majority of CYLC's the grassroot organizations find themselves in an embarrassing situation where they are marginalized,which is a sharp contrast to the position they hold.The grassroot organizations are the foundation of CYLC and the weakening and marginization of CYLC's the grassroot organizations will definitely lead to serious weakening of youth's mass basis of CPC and the cause of CPC will also face danger due to lack of successors.CPC saw the seriousness of this problem and initiated reform on CYLC,especially on organization construction of CYLC's grassroot organizations.There is no need to underline the importance of reform.The key lies in how to locate the problem to ensure the effectiveness of the reform.Analysis should be made to identify the reasons for the marginization of CYLC,thus the solutions could be made.This essay defines the grassroot organizations of CYLC,discusses the relationship between CYLC and its grassroot organizations.Grassroot organizations are the source of vitality of CYLC and determine CYLC's performance of responsibility.At present,the current status of CYLC is well below the expectation of CPC.This essay takes the CYLC organizations of ZY Group as an example,analyzes the type and the essence of marginization of the grassroot organization of CYLC,and aims to study the phenomenon of the marginization of the grassroot organization of CYLC.Few studies have been made in this field so far as the majority of the scholars take the marginization of CYLC as an evidence when they make the research on the reform of CYLC and the functions of this organization,and thus few analysis has been made on the reasons that lead to this phenomenon.This essay will take the transformation of the society as the background,take social environment,relationship between CPC and CYLC,characters of the youth and the grassroot organizations of CYLC into consideration,highlight the reasons of marginization of CYLC's grassroot organizations.It is deemed that CYLC's grassroot organizations lack the method and ability to function in this ever-changing era,and have no effective measure to cope with the new requirement from CPC as well as the new demands of the youth.To tackle the problem,focus should be given to CYLC's position,value and whether the demand of the youth could be satisfied is of vital importance.The working method that goes with the era should be adopted,the building mechanism of organizations and cadres should be updated to cope with the new era.Only in this way,can CYLC's grassroot organizations regain the vitality and influence,serves as a bridge between the CPC and the youth,and be worthy of the assistant and reserve of CPC.
