Research On Legal Liability Of Lawyers In The Registration Of Private Equity Fund Managers

Since the registration system for private equity fund managers has been confirmed in China,it has become necessary for lawyers to carry out legal review on the organizations that intend to apply for the qualification of private equity fund manager.At present,there is still a lack of system in the scope of work and the responsibilities of the lawyers in the registration stage of private equity fund managers in China,the identification of lawyers' work responsibilities and violations have great ambiguity and uncertainty.Through the combing of the American private fund registration system and the responsibility system of securities lawyers,combined with the current work dilemma of lawyers,the author proposes to start from the perspective of regulating the registration system of private equity fund manager,clarify the role of lawyers in this business and the scope of lawyers' legal responsibilities,and improve the external supervision system and the self-discipline management of the lawyer profession.It is hoped that we will find a feasible way for lawyers to carry out private equity legal services in China's strict supervision today,and then realize the healthy and benign interaction between the supervision department and the legal service organization,in order to help the orderly development of the private equity fund industry jointly.
