Research On The Party Consolidation Movement In Raoyang County In The 1980s

Rao yang County launched a Party Consolidation Movement in 1985,according to the direction of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC).It happened in the special time points.The CPC,after convening the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central Committee,did a series of work to set wrong things right,implemented Reform and Opening-up,and started to reform the system of political and economic.But there still was something wrong with the party.At that time,members understood reforms badly,which leaded to policies badly executed,even no executed.Also some Party members lost confidence of socialism,spread those ideas which made people doubt of socialism.Another members sought benefits for themselves or their groups,by damaging country’s interests.What’s more,a few of Party members and cadres violated regulation or had eroded their sense of organizational discipline.The CPC hoped that all party members agreed to the new policies,launched after the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central Committee,and push their work forward.,after this Movement.The Party Consolidation Movement in 1980 s was the first self-regeneration movement after the Cultural Revolution.There were many differences compared with the same movement previous.There were speciality in time node,political mission and development model of this movement.And These caused kinds of reaction of party members and cadres.We can know the real attitude to this movement and the real position of Party member in basic level.It reveals problems,expect lacking of party character.At begin,the movement wasn’t valued by party cadres.Party members showed no comprehension and supporting to it.Problems were solved by repeatedly education and checking up.Besides,we can know the difficulties in implementing,resulting in not only lacking of party character,but also the incomprehension and misunderstanding of policy,the limitation of manpower,finance and more.
