Research On Zhang Wentian's Democratic Thought

Zhang Wentian(1900-1976)was a Communist with outstanding contributions and high status in the history of the Communist Party of China.He devoted all his life to the cause of China’s revolution and construction.He was not only engaged in the practice of revolution and construction,but also a worthy giant of action.In addition,he has written a lot of works and left a precious spiritual legacy.He is a worthy theoretical giant and thus has been labeled as a "scholarly revolutionary".Democracy is not only an important aspect of Zhang Wentian’s thought,but also his unremitting goal.As a result,more than 40 years after his death,there has been a upsurge in the study of Zhang Wentian’s democratic thought in the academic circle.Among them,the connotation and practical value of Zhang Wentian’s democratic thought has been deeply explored,forming a large number of precious research results.In this paper,based on the research foundation of publicity to explore zhang wentian life essence democracy on the basis of the historical facts and its democratic discourse,analyses the forming condition of zhang wentian democracy,combed the development course of the democracy thought,summarizes the main content of zhang wentian democratic thought,reveals the value of its democracy and enlightenment.Zhang Wentian believed that the society was a whole,and the connotation of democracy meant that the people were masters of the country,which meant that the masses should be masters of the country in all aspects of social life.Therefore,the democracy advocated by Zhang Wentian is a democratic ideological system integrating economy,politics,culture and inner-party democracy.In this ideological system,economic democracy is the foundation,political democracy is the guarantee,cultural democracy is the soul,and inner-party democracy is the guide.The democratic ideological system constructed by Zhang Wentian is the inheritance and development of marxism-Leninism democratic theory.The year 2020 will be the 120 th anniversary of Zhang Wentian’s birth and the "first hundred years".The purpose of studying Zhang Wentian’s democratic thought is not only to review,understand and grasp the development path of China’s democratic politics since modern times with the help of zhang Wentian,but also to find out the ideological resources and wisdom for the continuous promotion of socialist democratic politics construction with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
