The reason for observing the law is the foundation of the law-abiding theoretical research,and it is an important and complex theory in the field of legal theory research.The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that the whole people should abide by the law,and whether the law is generally observed should be regarded as an important evaluation index for a society ruled by law.To achieve the goal of law-abiding by the whole people,we must first clarify why people obey the law.Starting with the analysis of the meaning of law-abiding,on the basis of defining the subject,object and content of law-abiding,it focuses on the analysis of the four mainstream law-abiding theories of violence deterrence theory,interest measurement theory,moral theory,and legitimacy theory Theories have their advantages,but because of the singleness of the research perspective,the interaction and influence between the incentives and influencing factors in people's law-abiding decision-making are lack of overall grasp,and they cannot fully explain the reasons for people's compliance with the law.Law-abiding is a dynamic result of multi-factor coupling.From the perspective of integrity and process,based on the original law-abiding theory,a comprehensive law-abiding theory is proposed.
