Research On The Port Workers Movement Of Shanghai Port During The War Of Liberation

The war of liberation is the last and most important period in China's industrial history.The workers' movement of this period opened a second front and won the victory of the new democratic revolution together with the people's liberation army.The dockers in Shanghai continued to fight behind enemy lines and cooperated with the PLA to take over the port of Shanghai,making great contributions to the liberation of Shanghai.This paper takes the dockers' movement in Shanghai during the war of liberation as the research object,and analyzes the specific people and events,which is an important part of the Shanghai labor movement,by the method of literature analysis.The text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter discusses the background of the port operation in Shanghai during the war of liberation from various forces entrenched in Shanghai port and the tragic situation of the port workers.The second chapter narrates the whole process of the party organization in Shanghai port from recovery,development to low tide and then to revival.The third chapter sorts out the strike struggle of Shanghai port dock workers led by our party and the struggle process of protecting the port and ushering in the liberation,trying to use historical archives to restore the real scene of Shanghai port dock workers' movement during the liberation war.The fourth chapter tries to explain the historical significance of the dockers' movement in Shanghai port during the war of liberation and its enlightenment to practical work.The dockers in Shanghai are an indispensable part to maintain the operation of Shanghai port,but the dockers' movement in Shanghai has not received the corresponding attention in the study of the workers' movement in Shanghai.The dockers' movement in Shanghai during the war of liberation was a combination of dockers' struggle for welfare and social status,and their struggle for national liberation and change of national destiny.It had a special status,the research of this object also appears more valuable.
