Shanghai Port Coal Transport Development

With the development of the social economy and the adjustment of the industrial structure, the coal transport, as one of the main throughputs in Shanghai Port, has undergone great changes in its supply and consumption and its transport system. In light of this, the thesis has made careful analyses of the current situation of the coal transport in Shanghai Port and also has predicted its development tendency on the basis of large amount of data. Meanwhile, in answer to the request of Shanghai Urban Planning Development, the thesis has spared no effort to analyze and study the adjustment program of the coal arrangement in Shanghai Port and put forward the corresponding solution.Looking ahead to the future as well as on the basis of the above analyses, the thesis holds the opinion that the key to the coal transport development in Shanghai Port is keeping to the model of "intensive development" to build a port coal logistic park with the core of the coal transport integration. Therefore, the thesis contributes a lot to the analyses of the function orientation of the coal integrated logistic park in Shanghai Port and the construction of the coal supply center and the tangible market for coal exchange based on the ports as well as the construction of the coal supply chain which mainly relies on the port linking. The thesis meanwhile does not fail to expound the operation competition strategy of the coal logistic park with the essence of "service and quality" and program and implementation of the coal logistic park in Shanghai Port.
