Teacher's professional identity has an important influence and significance to teachers' teaching practice and professional development and it plays an active role in optimizing the teaching staff and improving the quality of the teachers.As a part-time education master from the county seat,I have long been a first-line teacher in local education for eight years and I always want to focus on the real problems of education in my hometown through real education research.And the professional identity of teachers in our junior middle schools is the problem I have been thinking about.This study mainly adopts questionnaire survey and interview method,taking the case of Juye of Shandong province as an example to investigate the status of professional identity of teachers in county junior middle schools.In this paper,320 junior middle school teachers in Juye were surveyed with professional identity questionnaire from the dimensions of occupational value,professional emotion,professional volition and professional behavior inclination,and some teachers were conducted in-depth interviews.The main results are as follows:(1)The professional identity of junior middle school teachers is at a high level;(2)The teachers' professional identity has a very significant difference in gender,and the male teachers' score is lower;(3)The teachers' professional identity doesn't have any very significant difference in age;(4)Teachers' professional identity has a very significant differences in educational background;(5)The teachers' professional identity doesn't have any very significant difference in education age;(6)The professional identity of teachers with different professional titles doesn't have any very significant difference in the dimensions of occupational value,professional emotion,and professional volition.But as for the dimension of professional behavior inclination,the professional identity of teachers with senior titles is lower than the professional identity of those who with secondary titles and primary titles;(7)The professional identity of teachers with different professional roles doesn't have any very significant difference in the dimensions of the professional identity,occupational value and professional volition.But as for the dimension of professional emotion,the professional identity of teachers in charge of a class is lower than the professional identity of ordinary teachers;(8)The professional identity of teachers of different pay levels doesn't have any very significant difference in the dimensions of occupational value,professional emotion,and professional volition.But as for the dimension of professional behavior inclination,it do have some significant difference;(9)The teachers' professional identity doesn't have any very significant difference in the school location;(10)The professional identity of teachers with different professional establishments doesn't have any very significant difference in the dimensions of e professional emotion,professional behavior inclination and professional volition.But as for the dimension of occupational value,the professional identity of local teachers is higher;(11)The professional identity of teachers of different teaching subjects has a very significant difference in the dimensions of occupational value,professional emotion,and professional volition.But as for the dimension of professional behavior inclination,it doesn't;By considering the results of professional identity of teachers in the middle schools in Juye,this study puts forward the construction to solve the problems of county middle school teachers' professional identity from four aspects of policy,society,school and teachers themselves.
