The prosperity of the country,social progress and school development need a large number of excellent teachers.If you want to be an excellent teacher,deep educational knowledge and skilled educational skills are of course very important,but the teacher’s identity to his own profession plays a decisive role,which is the psychological basis for a teacher to teach.Especially for junior high school teachers,their professional identity should be paid more attention because of the particularity of their education object and education stage.In addition,many scholars have found that teachers in China are generally facing greater pressure.At the same time,as the main workplace for teachers,the organizational atmosphere of schools is also closely related to the change of teachers’ professional identity.Based on this,this study selected four county in He Nan province,Ji Lin province in the junior high school teachers as the research object,based on the questionnaire star platform questionnaires,and on-site interview of some teachers,collecting data and materials,analyze their professional identity,professional pressure as well as the present situation of school organizational climate,and to further explore the relationship between the three.The questionnaire in this study is divided into two parts.The first part mainly includes questions related to school characteristics,demographic variables and teachers’ work characteristics,such as school location,school nature,teacher gender,teaching age and position.The second part,according to the research needs,selects three dimensions of role values,professional values and professional belonging in the "Professional Identity Scale for Primary and Secondary School Teachers" compiled by Wei Shuhua et al.In the Occupational Stress Scale for Primary and Secondary School Teachers compiled by Shen Jiliang et al,there are three dimensions: workload,student factors and examination pressure.And the five dimensions of teacher cooperation,teacher-student relationship,teaching resources,decision-making participation,and teaching innovation in the School Level Environment Questionnaire compiled by Johnson et al.,as part of the scale of this study.The teachers in G and D counties of Henan Province and S and C counties of Jilin Province were selected as the research objects.A total of 1249 questionnaires were randomly distributed.After data cleaning,837 valid questionnaires were retained.SPSS25.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis and correlation analysis to understand the status quo of vocational identity of junior middle school teachers in the county.Mplus is used to build a structural equation model to analyze the relationship among teachers’ professional identity,teachers’ professional pressure and school organizational atmosphere.The results of this study are as follows :(1)the professional identity of junior middle school teachers in the county region is high;Vocational pressure of junior middle school teachers in the county is at the average level;The organizational atmosphere of junior high schools in the county is above the average level.(2)Teachers’ occupational pressure has a positive impact on teachers’ professional identity;Workload has a negative impact on teachers’ professional identity;Test pressure has a positive effect on teachers’ professional identity;The influence of student factors on teachers’ professional identity is not significant.(3)Teachers’ cooperation,decision-making participation and teaching innovation climate have positive and significant predictive effects on teachers’ professional identity;The influence of teacher-student relationship and teaching resources on teachers’ professional identity is not significant.(4)School organizational climate has a negative moderating effect on teachers’ occupational stress and professional identity.According to the analysis results,the following policy recommendations are put forward:First,give full respect to the teachers of junior high schools in the county.Raise the salary of teachers and give them economic affirmation;Respect teachers’ decision-making right to participate in education and teaching work,and give teachers more right to speak;The society gives the teachers and their profession a correct and objective evaluation.Second,improve the working environment of junior high school teachers in the county.To truly "reduce the burden" for teachers;Organize a variety of activities,adjust the pressure of teachers;Third,from the perspective of teachers,teachers themselves should also establish a correct view of teacher education,good at regulating their emotions.
