The extraction of geographic text information is an integral part of high school students' geographic literacy. At present, there are many researches on the extraction of geographic information. However, most of them focus on the study of graph information. There is still a lack of research on the extraction of geographical information. The lack of ability to extract textual information in high school students' geography learning is a major dilemma faced in current geography education practice. Therefore, from the perspectives of information processing theory, cognitive psychology and cognitive semantics,it is necessary to study the barriers to the extraction of textual information in geographical learning.First of all, through the literature analysis method, the current situation of high school students' geography text information extraction capacity is analyzed, and the current research status at home and abroad is reviewed.Based on this, combined with interviews with geography teachers and students, the factors influencing the extraction of geography and text information from senior high school students were obtained and questionnaires were formed.Secondly, the results of questionnaire survey were analyzed by SPSS and the rotation analysis of maximum variance method was used to find out the obstacle factors of high school students' geographic information extraction.Based on the results of the interviews between teachers and students, the barriers to high school students' geographic text information extraction from the largest to the smallest are: meaningful learning of knowledge, connection between materials and original knowledge, lack of certain types of knowledge, interpretation of problems, time adjustment. Finally, the obstacle factors for the extraction of geographical information from boys are: the link factor between the material and the original knowledge;the problem interpretation interpretation factor;the knowledge meaningful learning factor;the focus factor when extracting;the deficiency factor for a certain kind of knowledge;and the time control factor. The hurdle factors of female students' geography textual information were as follows: question comprehension interpretation factor;material comprehension factor;material and original knowledge linkage factor;learning depth factor, knowledge meaningful learning factor, and time adjustment factor.Comparing the factors of male and female students' geographical and textual information barriers: The greatest obstacles to the extraction of geographical and textual information of boys and girls are different;compared with the first three obstacles, boys' obstacles have broader coverage than women's obstacles;male students should pay more attention to cultivating interest in geography learning.Girls should pay more attention to deepening learning in geograph learning.Through the analysis of the obstacle factors in the extraction of word information in high school students' geography learning, teachers and students can fundamentally grasp the problems and advance plans in advance. In order to improve the student's ability to acquire geographic information, improve the teaching effect of geography teachers, and solve the problem of inadequate geographical information extraction ability in geographical teaching practice.
