From the third grade of primary school, the student's reading volume has grown rapidly, and they has also entered their first important reading critical period. As an important part of human life, reading has become increasingly demanding for children's ability to read as social development has become information, networked, and the concept of lifelong learning has become popular. The ability to develop reading directly affects the motivation of students to acquire knowledge and the cultivation of learning interests.Existing studies have shown that students in our school have insufficient reading ability in primary and secondary schools, and they have an impact on other learning activities due to lack of reading. Therefore, this study starts with emotions to explore how emotions affect the reading process, which has both theoretical and practical value. In essence, reading is actually a conscious activity in which affecting and affecting each other affect one another. In real life, however, people only pay attention to the influence of cognitive factors such as emotions and other non-cognitive factors that affect reading.Through existing research,it has been confirmed that emotions are important stimulants and organizers of cognitive development, and they have important influences on perception, memory and reading. In this study, through the comparison of the reading scores of high school students and middle school students before and after emotion induction, and the analysis of the content of psychological description writing of middle and senior middle school students, the paper discusses three different emotions:positive emotions, negative emotions, and neutral emotions. The impact of the results, draw the following research results:(1)Emotions have an impact on the reading performance of elementary and middle school students.(2)The improvement of reading scores by positive emotions is even more pronounced.(3)Further tests found that positive emotions significantly increased the difficulty, the overall examination, and both the difficulty and the overall problem.Based on the above findings,it is initially understood that different emotions have an effect on the reading performance of elementary and middle school students, and that positive emotions have the most significant effect on students' reading performance. Therefore, three points are put forward.First, teachers should pay attention to the impact of emotions on students' reading in daily teaching.Secondly, they should pay attention to the positive emotions of students before reading.Third, give students appropriate feedback and stimulate students' reasonable emotions.
