Parent-child picture book reading has unique value for the physical and mental development of infants.However,because parent-child reading has strong spontaneous,empirical,and random features,how to guide children to read picture books has become a common concern for parents and early childhood education researchers.Preschool education experts have explored parent-child reading instruction methods from different perspectives and levels,and their research results are abundant.However,in actual life,parents rarely research on the application of these methods and the influencing factors.This study draws on previous research results and combines parent-child reading practices to summarize the eight guiding methods commonly used in daily family parent-child reading.Through household observation and interviews,the research explores the current status of different parents in the parent-child picture reading process.Reveal the existing problems,analyze the influencing factors,and provide recommendations for improving the parent-child picture book reading level.In this study,the parents of the four groups of families in Dalian were selected as the study subjects.The parental picture book reading instruction methods were investigated by case study,interview,case analysis and literature.The research content is divided into the following four parts:The first part mainly includes the research background,research purpose,research significance,domestic and foreign literature review.The second part mainly introduces the research methods,research objects and research tools.The third part analyzes parental guidance methods in the process of parent-child picture book reading based on the data obtained during the observation process.The fourth part explores the problems existing in the parent-child picture book reading and the reasons for the problems,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The recommendations are mainly centered on the parents' establishment of a scientific concept of parent-child reading,the need to care for the physical and mental development of the child,and the improvement of parents' reading ability.
