Media development affects children's reading, so that children's needs for books change. Reading is not only the acquisition of information for children, it is an important way to cultivate cognition and gain experience. How to effectively combine picture book design and emotional experience to meet the needs of parents and children, and then develop reading habits to promote the development of children worthy of attention.As the first book of children, the picture book is an important medium to help children understand the world and accumulate experience. It is also a bridge between adults and children. However, in a large number of parent-child reading, the picture books are often used for simple text reading or question answering, children and picture books, children and parents are lack of lively and interesting interaction,the reading context can not provide a different way of reading with the reading situation, It's difficult to attract children to repeat reading. With the development of experiential design and the change of children's demand for books, it is necessary to change the picture-books that parents and children need to read together. Based on the thinking and method of emotional experience design, this paper studies the parent-child reading users, summarizes the parent-child reading situation, analyzes the user's needs, and puts forward the design principles of the parent-child picture readability, interesting and easy to read, and satisfaction., And combined with the pleasure of senses, guide interaction and the establishment of relations between the three experience objectives of specific design analysis.
