Function plays an extremely important role in mathematics education,we pay more attention to the teaching of function content especially after the reform of mathematics curriculum in China.The concept of function has great abstraction,different students will appear a variety of different concepts during the learning process,the traditional cramming method of teaching can not meet the requirements of the new era and the training of students’ key competence,and also can not cultivate their learning and survive ability.So,the author tries to find a shortcut for students to understand the concept of function based on the theory of cognitive impairment.First of all,I read a lot of literatures,the cognitive impairment theory and function concept teaching has been collated and summed up,thus the theoretical support was obtained.In order to avoid the idle talk,I designed a questionnaire to learn some of the cognitive conditions of the grade eight and senior students in the first grade in the function learning.According to the survey results,no matter the definition of variable theory in junior high school or the definition of correspondence in senior high school,students do not keep the concept in mind,and the function of the concept of learning is mostly "powerless".Then I will test these two graders,and analyze the test results combining the mathematics curriculum standard,textbook and cognitive impairment theory.From the results we can obtain the reasons for students with cognitive disabilities,which barriers in function concept learning.And can also summarizes the topic function of common types of errors to make students more profound understanding of the essence of the concept of function,then I will study the effect of function concept learning on middle school stage function concept learning.Based on the above analysis and combining with the teaching practice,I will give some suggestions on some function concept teaching,and carry out a teaching design on the basis of how to effectively combine the function concept teaching in junior high school and senior high school to help students eliminate the concept of learning function.
