The Effect Of Subjective Social Class On Social Mentality

This paper proposes an empirical study on social mentality from subjective social stratum perspective,combining empirical research with WVS 2012 Chinese volume data.This paper verifies the influence of subjective social stratum and subjective well-being,life control degree,social fairness sense and satisfaction degree of family economy in order to determine the influence of subjective happiness;Comparing objective social stratum's influence effect on social mentality,conclusion: subjective social stratum has more explanatory power than objective social stratum;Subjective social stratum has significant positive influence on subjective well-being,living control degree,social equity sense and family economic satisfaction degree.This paper analyzes and discusses social stratum and social mentality status quo of Chinese people and puts forward two recommendations combining with Party 19 th CPC National Congress' s requirement to cultivate social mentality "meeting stratum demand cultivating healthy mentality" and "alleviating stratum contradiction for promoting social stability".
