In the traditional mathematics education,educators have always attached importance to the development of students' deductive reasoning ability,while neglecting students' plausible reasoning ability.The new curriculum has always emphasized that the core of education is the cultivating of innovative spirit and practical ability.To implement this objective we do need to train the students how to Observe,Point,Analyze and Solve problems.Let the students fully experience the Conjecture,Generalization,Induction and Validation by themselves,which happens to be the process of plausible reasoning.So it is necessary to cultivate students' plausible reasoning ability.First of all,I've studied the theory of plausible reasoning.Then I investigated and analyzed 186 primary school students' plausible reasoning ability,also talked to 6 First-class math teachers.Concluded as follow:Students are willing to study through plausible reasoning,but they lack of experience and method.Primaiy school students have some development in plausible reasoning ability.There is no significant difference between genders among primary school students.Unbalanced development of plausible reasoning.,The level of mastering,basics is proportional to the development of plausible reasoning.Teaching quality is obviously proportional to the students' development of plausible reasoning.Through the questionnaire I found that the plausible reasoning ability is proportional to the students' grades.At the end I've proposed strategies and recommendations after a lot of literature accessing and theory analyzing.
