A Case Study On The Role Of Teachers In Morning Conversations In A Large Class With A High Level Of Children's Participation

During the internship,resercher found that the morning talk in this class is vivid and dramatic and children's participation degree is high.This is relatively rare in the experience of the researcher before the internship.Because the teacher in the morning talk played an important role in organization,and affects the young children's participation degree.Therefore,how teacher treat the morning talk and what role teacher plays in the morning talk become the keys of the research.With the idea,researcher take morning talks in this class as individual case.In established on the basis of qualitative research orientation,recercher uses observation method for data collection in the natural situation,and collects 24 morning talks.Synchronously,researcher interview the teacher with formal and informal ways and analyze the behavior of the teacher Z and the consciousness behind the behavior.Research findings:first of all,the teacher has her own understanding of the nature,objectives,the choice of topics of the morning talk,She paid more attention to morning talk in promoting children's sharing and communication;Secondly,the teacher in the morning talk mainly played the roles of "host",Through her planning,guidance,promotion and extension,the morning talk will unfold step by step.Finally,because of the role that the teacher take,children can participate and is willing to participate in the morning talk,and it elevates the participation degree of children.At the end of the article,recercher conbine the summary and analysis of the role of teacher take,to inspire and give some suggestions to preschool teachers,and help teachers establish a correct awareness,explicit suitable role in the morning talk and improve the morning talks.
