Our country has a long tradition of poetry teaching.Modern Chinese poetry has gone through over a hundred years.Compared with the resplendent ancient poetry,the readers of modern poetry are far less than ancient poetry.The modern poetry teaching should adapt to Chinese language curriculum standards.It is good to children's literature aesthetic training.To strengthen the integration of modern poetry and Chinese teaching is extremely urgent.Based on this,this paper will stand on the middle grade of primary school students,study how to integrate modern poetry with Chinese language learning,including reading,listening,speaking and writing.Also,this paper will discuss how to design teaching strategies,tasks,content of modern poetry,in order to achieve an ideal teaching effect.This article mainly expounds the extension and integration of modern poetry with the Chinese teaching textbooks in middle grade of primary school from four aspects.It discusses reading teaching task,principles and strategies of modern poetry.Also,four step teaching method "Accumulation-Experience-Creation-Evaluation" and a number of case studies are provided for the integration of modern poetry and writing and comprehensive study.Finally,the paper also analyzes the implementation effect of the whole research from the level of students,teachers and classes,and makes some thoughts and prospects for the follow-up research.
