| It is suggested that we should apply mathematics experiments in senior high schools timely and moderately,for it is helpful for students to master necessary mathematics knowledge,improve their enthusiasm in learning mathematics and enhance their ability to operate,analyze problems and solve problems.What’s more,it contributes to cultivate students’ competence of thinking and exploring.Since the mathematics experiment course was put forward,there have been many articles about the mathematics experimental teaching in the high school.However,in the actual high school mathematics teaching process,most of the mathematics experiments still stay at the level of research but aren’t applied in classrooms.This thesis mainly contains four mathematics experimental teaching design cases in high school:the figure of y =A sin(ωx+ψ),the experiment of definition of ellipse,the statistical experiment and the experiment of the nature of function image.The thesis used a interview with three senior high school mathematics teachers to analyze the situation of the application of mathematics experiments in teaching.A comparative teaching was applied in two parallel classes.Under the guidance of the teacher,the students in the experimental class used MATLAB to analyze the characteristics of quadratic function image at first.Then they used the nature of MATLAB self-taught exponential function to get the nature and characteristics of exponential function.On the other hand,the traditional teaching model was applied in the control class.At last,the author used a timely test and the analysis of the students’ scores in the midterm test to come to a conclusion.And some suggestions were given in the end.From the research,we can find that it is effective to apply mathematics experiments in high schools.When comparing the teaching atmosphere,the timely test and the midterm test’ scores of the experimental class and the control class,it is found that the students in the experimental class are more active in class and the experimental class has a better classroom atmosphere.The students have a better understanding of some image problems and their accuracy in solving problems is higher.Besides,the scores of the poor students and the secondary students in the experimental class are also obviously improved.They begin to have interest in mathematics and are more willing to think and ask some inquiring questions after class.Their consciousness of mathematics experimental activities gets stronger.In addition,due to the advantages of MATLAB software,the application of MATLAB in senior high school mathematics experiments can stimulate students’ interest in learning mathematics and improve the effect of teaching and learning greatly.And it is beneficial to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability and enhance students’mathematics accomplishments. |
