With the development of our society,people have realized the importance of reading to life.Reading is a good habit,which plays an important role in human’s development.In recent years,the importance of Parent-child reading has attracted much attention.Fathers play an important role in the process of children’s growth,which has been proven to have a great impact on children’s parent-child reading.In consideration of their important role,this paper studies fathers’ participation in children’s Parent-child reading.According to available information,we find that the current research data related to this content are relatively few.In order to enhance the effectiveness of data,this paper has chosen various channels to obtain theoretical results.And take 3-6 year-old children’s father of Huai’an A Kindergarten as the research object.This paper also uses questionnaires to collect data to lay the foundation for the follow-up study.Firstly,this study investigates the purpose,level,mode,reading environment and types of kindergartens in order to understand the reality of fathers’ participation in children’s Parent-child reading in Huai’an.Secondly,based on the investigation and analysis of the present situation.we found that the purpose of fathers’ participation in Parent-child reading is one-sided,the level is not high,and the Parent-child reading is lack of effective reading guidance.The reading materials which they has chosen has a certain blindness.Most of them do not pay attention to the creation of reading environment and some other issues.Combined with the main problems found in the analysis of the causes,mainly due to the fathers’,the children’s and family environment’s factors and the influence of the type of Kindergarten.Finally,the paper makes an intensive study of the problems we found,and puts forward guiding strategies.From the perspective of cooperation between kindergarten and family,which includes the following parts:Truly understanding Parent-child reading,Guaranteed Parent-child reading time,Enhancing fathers’ participation,Mastering various reading methods,Guiding fathers to choose reading materials scientifically,and Cooperation between kindergarten and family to promote fathers’ participation in Parent-child reading activities.We hope that can arouse fathers’ attention to Parent-child reading and promote children’s physical and mental health development.
