Parent-child reading for children’s development has a unique value,parent-child reading has become a topic of public concern,and participate in the parent-child reading a large number of studies have pointed out that father has positive significance,its role cannot be replaced by others,is the importance of his father in young children’s academic performance and personality traits and gender role these aspects,and have an important impact,given the importance of the father in parent-child reading,it is necessary to carry out his father to participate in the parent-child reading research.In this study,fathers of 3-6 years old children in Harbin were selected as the object of this study by using the method of questionnaire survey.More than 400 fathers of children were given questionnaires and a total of 398 valid questionnaires were collected.From the five aspects of fathers’ participation in parent-child reading,reading preparation,cognitive attitude,reading extension and reading guidance,respectively.The present situation of fathers’ participation in parent-child reading was investigated.Based on the questionnaire data collected through SPSS20.0 software,statistical analysis of data and combining data and interview result analysis,further analysis of the problems of the father in the parent-child reading and analysis of causes,and put forward the corresponding education strategy,help father better participate in the parent-child reading,and effectively guide the children to read,Promote better development of young children.This study investigated and analyzed the status quo of fathers’ participation in children’s parent-child reading,and analyzed the differences of fathers’ participation in children’s parent-child reading based on their different ages,educational backgrounds,occupations and incomes.After analyzing and summarizing relevant data,it found that the problems existing in fathers’ participation in parent-child reading are as follows:Fathers’ enthusiasm for participation is not high,there are some misunderstandings about parent-child reading,neglect the creation of spiritual environment,do not pay attention to the extension of reading in time,and lack of learning and reflection on their own reading guidance ability.Combined with the survey results and difference analysis as well as the collection of relevant literature,the value of fathers’ participation in parent-child reading was correctly understood from the perspective of fathers.Fathers strengthen their own learning and use educational resources wisely;Fathers flexibly handle the relationship between work and parent-child reading;Fathers increase the level of participation and enhance the family reading atmosphere;The father should attach importance to the creation of spiritual environment to enhance the parent-child relationship;Fathers pay attention to the strategies of carrying out reading extension education in time to promote fathers’ effective participation in children’s parent-child reading.
