The problem is the basis of understanding.Questioning is the engine of understanding.In mathematics classroom teaching,teachers often promote students' thinking and inquiry through problems,thus improving students' mathematical understanding ability.Therefore,questioning becomes an important part of the interaction between teachers and students in classroom teaching.However,in practice,an important reason for the poor performance of problem teaching is that the questions raised by teachers are scattered and unsystematic,thus affecting students' understanding of knowledge.The problem chain teaching method takes problems as the link,takes the generation,formation and development of knowledge as the main line,aims at cultivating students' mathematical comprehension ability,and takes the bilateral activities of teachers and students as the basic form,which is an effective method to promote students' mathematics learning.Therefore,how to design a high-quality problem of interlocking and layering,how to combine problem chain teaching with students' mathematical understanding,make mathematics classroom more efficient,mathematics teaching more effective,it is worthy of our educators to discuss and the study.First of all,this study summarizes the characteristics of effective problem chain teaching through literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview method and statistical analysis method,and gives a case design based on problem chain.Then,in a junior high school in Xuhui District,Shanghai,the teaching practice of mathematics problem chain teaching was conducted.Questionnaire survey was conducted on students,and five dimensions were analyzed from the aspects of representational understanding,interpretation and understanding,establishment of connections,ideological use and creation,and analysis was effective.The relationship between problem chain teaching and students' mathematics understanding,and case interviews with students,the students' evaluation of problem chain teaching,and the design suggestions of problem chain.This paper is divided into six chapters,the first chapter is the introduction;the second chapter is the concept definition and the theoretical basis;the third chapter is the design principle and type of the problem chain;the fourth chapter is the teaching case design based on the problem chain;the fifth chapter It is based on the problemchain of students' mathematical understanding practice research;the sixth chapter is the summary and outlook.Finally,it is concluded that the practice research of problem chain teaching shows that problem chain teaching has a greater role in promoting the understanding and interpretation of students' mathematical understanding,and the promotion of connection is less obvious.The promotion effect needs to be improved.And put forward the following teaching suggestions: First,set the problem chain to adhere to the five principles,pay more attention to the use of mathematics to understand the use of ideas and create a level;Secend,use the situation to introduce and explain examples when designing problem chains;Third,problem chain presentation methods can be diverse But the logic must be clear.
