The combination of number and shape is one of the important mathematical ideas.It runs through the entire high school mathematics content and is one of the mathematics ideas that mathematics curriculum standards require high school students to master.China s "Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" requires strengthening the perception and understanding of students' mathematical thinking methods.In the core mathematics literacy proposed by them,it also puts forward the visual imagination ability contained in the combination of numbers and shapes high requirements.In the past few decades,the use of the combination of numbers and shapes in the mathematics test papers of the college entrance examination in China has made the test questions more flexible and diverse.Based on this,this paper carries out the practical research of high school students using the combination of numbers and shapes to solve problems.In the research,firstly,the related theoretical research on the combination of number and shape is sorted and summarized.Through the test of high school students,the author understands the current situation of high school students' understanding and application of the combination of numbers and shapes,and finds that high school students have problems in solving problems with numbers and forms,as well as high school students'understanding of the combination of numbers and shapes.insufficient.Then,on the basis of the inductive analysis of the existing data,combined with the analysis of the problem solving of high school students,explore some suggestions and strategies to improve the ability of high school students to use the combination of numbers and shapes.Combined with the case analysis method,a research object was selected to carry out a three-month strategic influence,and the student's understanding of the change in the understanding of the number and shape and the ability to solve the problem were observed to test the effectiveness of the strategy.The survey results show that:(1)the ability of high school students to solve problems with the combination of numbers and shapes is relatively weak,especially in the three knowledge modules of equations,series and algebra proof;(2)in inequalities,series,probability problems,Students use geometric methods to solve problems with high accuracy;(3)in the choice of problem solving methods for liberal arts students and science students,science students are more inclined to solve problems with geometric methods than in liberal arts,especially in the proof of inequality.The number of science students choosing geometric methods is more;in the answers to the series of questions,liberal arts students and science students are more inclined to use algebra to solve problems;(4)in the choice of boys and girls in solving problems,boys Compared with girls,they tend to use geometric methods to solve problems,and the correct rate is higher than the correct rate of girls.In the series of knowledge modules,the male-female combination of number and shape needs to be improved.In view of the above conclusions,the suggestions for teaching are as follows:(1)In the teaching process,teachers should pay attention to improving the ability of students to transform each other's numbers;(2)teachers should teach corresponding differences in liberal arts and sciences students in teaching;(3)In the process of solving students' problems,teachers should emphasize the integrity of drawing norms and writing logic;(4)Teachers should integrate the knowledge and cases of famous "digital combination" in mathematics into teaching.Practice shows that the teaching suggestions and problem-solving strategies explored in the text can help students better understand mathematics knowledge,and use the combination of numbers and shapes in solving problems to provide more convenient solution ideas.How to use the combination of numbers and shapes to understand mathematics,solve problems and many topics worthy of study,it is necessary for teachers and teaching researchers to explore and practice.
