Textbooks are important resources for students to learn. The quality of textbooks directly affects teachers'teaching and students' learning. At present, there are many versions of primary school mathematics textbooks, and more and more attention has been paid to the comparative study of different versions of textbooks.Soviet Educational Press textbooks are compiled on the basis of curriculum standards issued by the Ministry of Education, and are widely used.Shanghai Educational Press primary school textbooks are based on the curriculum standards formulated by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Education. Some of them are also used in English classrooms due to the successive excellence of students in reading, mathematics and science.Mathematics textbooks for primary schools in Hong Kong are characterized by a distinct blend of eastern and Western cultures. This paper chooses three editions of textbooks:Soviet Educational Press,Shanghai Educational Press and Hong Kong Educational Press for analysis and research."Score" is one of the important mathematical concepts in elementary school mathematics, and "fraction addition and subtraction" is the basic operation, which plays an important role in improving students operation ability. In this study, literature, comparative analysis, text analysis and interviews are used to combine qualitative and quantitative analysis. The "fraction addition and subtraction" method in the three editions of the textbooks is compared from the aspects of content system, example design and exercise arrangement. The research finds that the three editions of textbooks follow the spiral upward principle in content system. The examples and exercises of the Soviet Edition textbooks are more difficult. The content breadth and depth of the Hong Kong Edition textbooks are significantly higher than those of the other two editions, and the overall difficulty of the Hong Kong Edition is also significantly higher than that of the other two editions. At the same time, some suggestions are put forward, including the idea of spiral increase in the content arrangement of fraction addition and subtraction, paying attention to the cohesion between the content of textbooks, paying attention to the diversity of the background of examples, stimulating students'motivation to learn, adjusting the types of open exercises appropriately, improving the ability to solve problems, promoting students'understanding through different fraction structures, and paying attention to students'omputing ability.Improvement.
