| In the latest high school mathematics curriculum standard(2017 annual edition),it is mentioned that mathematics originates from abstraction of the real world.It is based on abstract structure to understand and express the essence,relationship and law of things in the real world.Faced with abstract mathematics knowledge,many middle school students’ abstraction ability has not been improved synchronously,and they may encounter some difficulties in learning mathematics.Starting from the opposite of abstraction,that is,visualization,this paper tries to put forward some ideas which can help to improve the efficiency and effect of teaching and learning mathematics in middle school.At present,there are many research materials on visualization: the principle of visual teaching in pedagogy provides some ideas and methods for mathematics educators to teach visually,that is,based on the concrete form of students’ direct perception;Mathematician David Tall proposed that one of the three worlds of mathematical proof is intuitive and visual proof,which can solve mathematical problems intuitively through graphic method;In his 12-year study,Krugetzky of the Soviet Union found that one of the types of students’ mathematical abilities is geometric thinking,which is used to interpreting abstract quantitative relationships visually.In addition,Terence Chi-Shen Tao,a foreign mathematician of Chinese origin,also mentioned that there are not only rigorous mathematics but also visual mathematics.In rigorous mathematics,all the details are given correctly and completely,while in visual mathematics,a natural and easily visualized argument is often used.The research on intuitive teaching in domestic literature can be summarized into three points: model intuition,combination of numbers and figures and mathematical visualization.On the basis of theoretical research and,this paper designs some cases of applying visual teaching principles to middle school mathematics from two aspects of new teaching and exercises,and explores the feasibility of case design.On this basis,a teaching experiment about some cases was carried out in real classroom teaching.It was found that the implementation of the visual teaching principle really helped students understand and master mathematical knowledge,and helped teachers to improve the efficiency of teaching.Finally,I reflects on the problems found in the study and puts forward some suggestions based on my own views.It is expected that this study will have some guiding significance in theory and practice of middle school mathematics teaching. |
