In teaching, the concept learning, principle learning and problem solvingteaching are the basic three types of knowledge. This research attempts to explore theinstructional design for principle learning,and takes the mathematics in secondary schoolfor example.Firstly, atfer reading a large number of documents and on the basis of theinvestigation, summarized the problems and difficulties in the principle teaching ofmathematics in secondary school: difficulty in understanding of the abstract principles,lack of interest,poor ability to use the principles and so on. Teaching is the mosteffective way to solve the problem of learning, a good instructional design requires tosystematically developed to solve these problems. This research summarized the theoryof the principle learning, according to the characteristics of principle knowledge and forimproving the effectiveness of classroom teaching,as well as taking full account of thel’earners experience, explored the instructional design of principle teaching ofmathematics in secondary school in accordance with the guidance of systematicinstructional design. Finally, according to the exploration of the principle learninginstructional design,designed a case and have tested the effects of instructional designthrough the teaching experiment.This research will bring the teachers and teaching workers operable guidance andreference.
