| 《Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011Edition)》was put forward:"mathematics accomplishment is the basic quality of modern society, which every citizen should have.As an important part of education to promote student’s all-round development, mathematics education should not only enable students to master the mathematical knowledge and skills needed for modern life and learning in mathematics,but also play an irreplaceable role in cultivating the thinking ability and innovation ability". However, at present, the mathematical teaching in china focus on the reading, writing, calculating, ignoring the seeing, thinking, drawing, which will hinder students’ non-logical thinking ability and may lead to poor quality of learning and other negative effects of heavy burdens.In the end of1960s, Rudolf Arnheim, an art psychology professor of Harvard University in American, sent a new theory "visual thinking" to us. He discussed the visual organ’characteristics of thinking in the perception of objects,and obtained from perceptual information to capture the general concept of rationality is a continuous and unification process. In order to bridge the separation between perception and thinking, sensibility and rationality, science and art.This issue research visual thinking theory into mathematics, not only consistent with the basic concept of the new curriculum reform, but also help improve the problem of thinking in mathematics education.It’s one of the favorable ways to help students learn and adapt to environmental change.This article is based on the theory of visual thinking, combined with the mathematical theory of thinking, discipline-based mathematics education psychology, psychology of learning mathematics, mathematical methodology and so on.Making a further define and analyze of visual thinking, visual image, and other related concepts; exploring limitations of visual thinking theory; Analysising the relationship between visual thinking and other thinkings;drawing the process of mathematics learning in visual image;proposing three ways to develop visual thinking;Using the visual thinking in teaching mathematical concepts and problems solving application to introduce how to apply visual thinking to improve the quality of teaching and learning in mathematics. At the end of this article also think further related research directions of visual thinking theory. |
