Geography practice is one of the four core qualities of geography,which is further emphasized in the new curriculum standard.Taking the cultivation of core accomplishment as the target,geography teaching materials and local geography teaching resources as the basis,geography field practice activities of senior high school adapt to the trend of international education for talent cultivation,meet the requirements of new curriculum reform and comprehensive practice activities program,and are the practical needs of geography field practice activities design facing difficulties.The case design of geographic field practice activities can enrich relevant theories,enrich school-based curriculum resources,and provide reference for front-line geography teachers.Carrying out geographic field practice activities is helpful to improve students’interest in learning geography,cultivate their patriotism,and enhance their geographic practice ability.This paper employs a variety of research methods,including literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,field investigation and case study.Firstly,this paper sorts out the relevant research status of geographic practice and local geography,defining the important concept of geographic field practice.This paper expounds the humanism,pragmatism,constructivist theory and geographical theory.Secondly,investigating the current situation of high school geography field practice in Sanmenxia city,and the existing problems were found after the analysis of the survey results.Then,aiming at the existing problems,construct the design strategy of geography field practice,including type,principle,content selection and program.Thirdly,choose the typical activity content of Sanmenxia city and design three cases.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Through the questionnaire survey of some high school students and interviews with teachers,it is found that the current situation of geographic field practice is unsatisfactory and faces many difficulties.Students have a high interest in geographic field practice,but due to class hours,grades,safety,teachers and other factors,the number of geographic field practice is less,and students’ practice ability is weak.Teachers pay more attention to teaching performance than activities,and have insufficient cognition of geographic field practice activities.Due to the poor guidance theory and practice ability,the overall quality is low,so the activities are carried out less frequently and the content is only in the form,which is not deep enough.(2)The design strategy of geographic field practice is constructed from four aspects including types,principle.content and procedure.According to the content of geographic field practice activities,they can be divided into three types:natural environment investigation,social and economic investigation,and cultural real scene experience.The design of geographic field practice should follow five basic principles:the principle of locality and geography,subjectivity and guidance,science and practice,safety and feasibility,openness and pluralism.The content of the activity should be selected in combination with standard textbooks and local geographic resources.The design procedure of the activity can be carried out according to the following aspects:determining the theme and type--designing the activity scheme--preparation stage--activity implementation--activity summary and evaluation.Teachers and students should participate each program,the theme should be based on teaching materials,local resources and learning conditions,the activity plan should be complete and comprehensive,the implementation of the activity should be in-depth and ensure the participation of students,and the evaluation of the activity should reflect the characteristics of the pluralism of subjects and the equal emphasis on process results.(3)Design and analysis of operational cases of geographic field practice in Sanmenxia city.According to the geographical field practice mentioned above design principles and procedures.Choosing the typical teaching resources,three practice cases was designed respectively,the natural environment investigative practice "inspection of the Sanmenxia wetland park",social economic investigative practice-"apple industry survey" and cultural experience of real practice-"historic experience".The cases shows that high school geography field practice is an effective complement to classroom teaching,it take an important role in promoting the cultivation of geography practice accomplishment.
