The Ministry of Education promulgated the Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition)in 2017,which put forward that the core accomplishment of geography discipline consists of regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,human-earth coordination concept and geographical practice ability.At present,the cultivation of students' geographical practice ability is very emphasized in geography teaching in middle schools.The best way to cultivate students' geographical practice ability is to carry out geographical practice activities.Therefore,how to select activities that help to cultivate geographical practice,design and implement strategies,has become the focus of this study.The author uses the methods of literature research,case analysis and action research to study the subject.This study explains how to design high school geography practice cases based on the cultivation of geography practice ability from two aspects of pedagogy and geography science.It points out that high school geography practice cases are designed on the basis of Humanism learning theory,pragmatism education theory,situational cognitive theory and geography teaching theory.This study concludes the design principles,sources,composition and implementation strategies of geographic practice activities by summing up the results of previous studies.It provides a basis for the selection,sources,steps and Strategies of case design principles of geographic practice activities in this paper.Based on the analysis of "content requirement" and "activity suggestion" of "Geography Course Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" and "activity" in senior high school geography compulsory textbook published by People's Education Press,and combining with geography teaching resources in Horqin District,this paper chooses high school geography practice activities suitable for the development of Horqin District,taking the cultivation of Geography Practice ability and adapting measures to local conditions as selection principles.Nineteen items of the project were analyzed in detail,and the corresponding geographic practical ability literacy and the level of attainment were also analyzed.On this basis,the design strategy of high school geography practice case is put forward: the main goal is to cultivate students' geography practice ability;the basis is the Geography Curriculum Standard of General High School(2017 edition);and the basis is the actual situation of Horqin District.Based on the analysis of previous studies and combined with the characteristics of this case,this paper determines that the general steps of the design of geographical practice activities for cultivating geographical practice ability are composed of five key links: determining the theme of practical activities,raising questions,implementing process,displaying achievements and evaluating effects.Through the implementation of two practical activities of "survey of bus routes and stations in Horqin District of Tongliao City" and "rough measurement of longitude and latitude in Horqin District by vertical pole mapping",this paper summarizes the implementation strategies of geographic practical activities based on the cultivation of geographic practical ability: first,sub-group cooperation;second,design the schedule of practical activities;third,multi-party coordination to obtain units and learning.School support;Fourth,refine the objectives of activities;Fifth,follow the principle from easy to difficult;Sixth,evaluation should focus on the whole process and diversity.Finally,the conclusions drawn from the design and implementation are summarized,and it is pointed out that there are still many shortcomings in this study,which will continue to improve in the future work and life.
