Professional identity and job involvement are the important criteria for evaluating kindergarten teachers.It is one of the important topics to promote the active and healthy development of kindergarten teachers in the exploration and study of the basic status of kindergarten teachers' professional identity and job involvement and the relationship between the two.In this study,430 teachers from 10 kindergartens in Xi'an were surveyed by The Kindergarten Teacher Professional Identity Questionnaire and The Preschool Teacher job involvement Questionnaire.At the same time,8 kindergarten teachers from different backgrounds in Xi'an were visited and further studied.The Interview research shows:the professional identity of kindergarten teachers is generally at the upper-middle level.Teachers have higher perceptions of career self-knowledge,professional motivation and career benefit.Among them,kindergarten teachers have the highest professional self-knowledge score and the lowest professional motivation score.Comparing Professional identity differences among preschool teachers with different demographic variables:For age and teaching age,with the increase of age and teaching age,the preschool teachers'professional identity is enhanced.The preschool teachers who have higher salary agree with their own occupations more.The preschool teachers with senior titles are obviously better than others who are no title.The professional identity of public kindergartens' teachers are higher than that of private kindergartens.The teachers of demonstration kindergartens are higher than other kindergartens.For the perspective of labor relations,the professional identity level of long-term kindergarten teachers are higher than that of official teachers,temporary hiring teachers have the lowest level of professional identity.Gender,academic background and classes taught have no significant impact on teachers' professional identity.Most of the kindergarten teachers' job involvement exceeds the middle value of the score,indicating the kindergarten teachers' overall work investment is higher.The results of correlation analysis shows there is a significant correlation between kindergarten teachers' professional identity and job involvement.Kindergarten teachers'professional identity was significantly correlated with job pleasure,job value,job responsibility and job focus.The work value and professional identity are the most relevant.The regression analysis shows professional identity can predict 67.3%job involvement use professional identity as a predictor.Professional identity has a positive impact on teacher job involvement(positive correlation)that teachers who are more identity for their job pay more for work.According to the research results,the author believes that the job involvement of preschool teachers can be promoted by the following aspects:1.Continue to improve the social status and salary level of preschool teachers;2.Provide various professional learning opportunities for preschool teachers;3.Improve their self-quality;4.Establish a fair and effective performance evaluation mechanism.
