Community Social Work Intervention Research On The Spiritual Needs Of Elderly Intellectuals In College Communities

The contrast of the social role change after the retirement of the elderly intellectuals will bring a lot of discomfort and trouble to their spiritual life though they have made a great contribution to the society,especially in the aspect of satisfying the spiritual needs.Therefore,what the government's work report at the second session of the 13th National People's Congress pointed out was that the government"should vigorously develop service industry for the elderly,especially the community-based service industry"in 2019.At the present stage,there is still a lack of protection for the spiritual needs of the group of the elderly intellectuals both in terms of national institutional mechanisms and social policy welfare though the pension security for them in the community has been gradually improved in the fields of policy,funds and so on in our country.As a result,it is of great significance to investigate and solve the spiritual needs of the elderly intellectuals.In this paper,it takes the elderly intellectuals in the community of S University as the research object to carry out the corresponding questionnaire investigation.At the same time,the questionnaire was completed after the selection of sample,the design of questionnaire,the pre-survey of questionnaire and the revision of questionnaire,so a formal questionnaire survey was conducted among 166 elderly intellectuals in the community of S University.In the link of data analysis,it divides the spiritual needs of the elderly intellectuals into five dimensions in this paper according to previous research results on the one hand,such as social interaction,emotional care,being respected,education and self-realization,which uses statistical analysis software to describe and analyze from these five dimensions.On the other hand,it constructs multiple linear regression mode to extract the four variable,such as population index,family situation,socioeconomic status and health status in the questionnaire,so as to make the analysis of the influencing factors.Thus,it can obtain comprehensive and objective data to sum up the characteristics,problems and reasons of the main spiritual needs of the research subjects from the level of family and individual,community resources and social security.Then,it selects 5 suitable research objects to obtain detailed and subjective data by structural interview,so as to verify the results of the data analysis.In the first chapter,it is the introduction.In this part,it introduces the background and significance of the research on the problem,and reviews the opinions of various parties on the issue in the domestic and foreign literature,which combs it from five aspects,such as the connotation,characteristics,measurement,problems and countermeasures of the spiritual needs,as well as the methods of social work intervention.Then,it makes the research ideas,selects literature research method,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method,and interview method on the basis,so as to carry out further research.At the same time,it also defines the four concepts of the community of colleges and universities,the elderly intellectuals,spiritual needs and the social work in the community.In the second chapter,it is the theoretical basis of this study.In this part,it explains the theory of the hierarchy of needs,the theory of social ecosystem,the theory of activity,the theory of social support,the theory of advantage perspective,which also discusses how to apply it through the combination of this study.In the third chapter,it designs questionnaires and conducts the survey.In this part,a pre-survey questionnaire was compiled through the combination of the author's field investigation and the interview results on the basis of collecting and sorting out the literature about the spiritual needs of the elderly and its influencing factors in the relevant fields at home and abroad.Finally,it made a formal Questionnaire on the Spiritual Life of the Elderly Intellectuals in the Community of Colleges and Universities,which includes the basic information of individuals and 25 topics.And then,it distributed and made the recovery of questionnaires.In the fourth chapter,it uses statistical analysis software SPSS 22.0 to analyze the questionnaire data,which describes the basic situation and main characteristics of the community,and describes the distribution and concentration trend of demographic variables in valid questionnaire samples.At the same time,it establishes multiple linear regression model to analyze the influence of four kinds of characteristic variables on spiritual life,so as to summarize the main problems of the spiritual needs of the elderly intellectuals,which also analyzes the causes from three aspects,such as family and individual support,community resources and social policy.In the fifth chapter,it discusses the intervention advantages and strategies of community social work on the spiritual needs of the elderly intellectuals in colleges and universities,which probes into the concrete advantages from the three aspects of idea,organization and specialization,as well as method.As a result,it gets the strategies,such as keeping pace with the unit and organization,making good use of the centralized resources of the unit,and giving full play to the role of the sense of identity and the sense of trust.In the sixth chapter,it puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for community social work to intervene in the problem on the basis of the results of the above investigation and analysis.First of all,it needs to strengthen the individual micro system and guide the formation of the concept of"spiritual autotrophy".Secondly,it needs to strengthen the peer-to-peer observation system and stimulate the mutual energy of self-government in the community.Thirdly,it needs to connect the external system of the community as well as promote the informatization and long-term efficiency of old-age support service.In the final chapter,it is the conclusion and reflection.In this part,it summarizes the research objects,research methods,and possible innovations in research ideas,which also reflects on the deficiencies in the aspects of theory and practice.
