Research On The Path Of Social Work Intervention In Community Mutual Assistance For The Elderly From The Perspective Of Community Social Capital

In order to cope with the challenge of population aging,China continues to explore and innovate the pension service model.In 2016,Nanhai District of Foshan City began to set up a Community Happiness Home,which provides community mutual assistance and old-age care services for the elderly by introducing professional forces in social work and mobilizing social participation.When social workers intervene in community mutual assistance and old-age care services,they lack systematic development planning,and it is difficult to promote the formation of a community mutual assistance pension network with reasonable structure and mutual trust among community subjects,and have not established formal norms for community mutual assistance and old-age care.How to promote the development of community mutual support for the aged from the theoretical perspective of community social capital has become the key of social work intervention.Taking the community social capital as the theoretical perspective,this paper takes the Nahan X Community Happiness Home as a research case,and explores the specific path of social work to promote the development of community mutual assistance for the elderly through the cultivation of social social capital under the Community Happiness Home as a pension platform.This paper divides community social capital into four analytical dimensions:community participation,community network,community trust,and community norms,and combines the differentiated characteristics of community social capital stock to divide community mutual assistance into three stages: prototype,development and maturity.Explore the three stages,social work through the excavation,cultivation,consolidation of community social capital,explore the community mutual assistance pension service model,improve the community mutual aid pension pluralism,organization,value,normative,sustainable practice process.However,due to the limited play of the social work profession,there is a lack of depth of community participation,insufficient density of community networks,and weak community trust norms.Social work has not been able to fully promote the formation of a community mutual assistance pension system in the operation of Community Happiness Home so far.In order to further optimize the practical path of social work intervention in community mutual assistance for the elderly,in view of the current shortcomings and causes of the development of community mutual assistance for the elderly,this paper proposes two major strategies to give play to the professional role of social workers and deepen the application of community social capital to community mutual assistance for the elderly.In terms of giving play to the professional role of social workers,it is necessary to enhance the professional ability of social workers,expand their professional influence,and expand their professional space.In the process of social workers using the theory of community social capital to intervene in the implementation of community mutual assistance for the elderly,it is necessary to enhance the depth of community community participation,optimize the community mutual aid network,strengthen the atmosphere of mutual aid and trust,and advocate the formal norms of community mutual assistance.All in all,social work intervenes in community mutual assistance for the elderly,and the stock of community social capital must be enhanced in order to achieve the spiral development of community mutual assistance for the elderly.
