Research On The Contemporary Construction Of Wushu Spirit

Wushu spirit is formed and developed in the long-term practice and it is a collection of moral rules,values and ideology promoted by Wushu players,which plays an important role in the value orientation and norms of behaviour.As a category of social consciousness,Wushu,determined by social existence and reacting against the social existence,is a concept characterized by a unity of history and times and displays different features in different eras.The advancement of globalization and China's modernization constitutes the background of Wushu spirit's contemporary constructing.To promote the constructing,we should face the challenges and opportunities posed by globalization,promoting the reasonable transformation of Wushu spirit during the process of China's modernization.Besides,the promotion of constructing will play an important part in the improvement of Wushu players' spiritual realm,in the identification of national culture and the advancement of cultural transmission.What is the core content of Wushu spirit's contemporary constructing? What are the paths to construct Wushu spirit? This thesis aims to explore and answer these issues.By consulting historical classics and literature datum,the author analyzes the historical development and concludes the historical connotation of Wushu spirit which includes fighting spirit,self-reliant spirit,chivalrous spirit,ethical spirit patriotism and philosophical spirit.All above are the researches on the orientation of Wushu spirit.This paper proposes the core content and paths of exploration with the principle of the unity of historicity and times,which is the solution to contemporary constructing.The core content of Wushu spirit's contemporary constructing: 1.Carry forward traditional Wushu spirit,which includes the inheritance of the fighting and self-motivation spirit,the transformation of chivalrous spirit,the expansion of ethical spirit and the prominence of harmony.Only in this way can Wushu spirit achieve the unity characterized by history and era.2.The era spirit endows Wushu spirit of innovation and science with new connotations,greatly promoting the rapid development of Wushu.In order to cultivate the true spirits of innovation and science in Wushu,we should be aware of the negative elements and the lack of development during the process.3.With the socialist core values as the lead,we should enrich the cultural connotation of Wushu spirit,making Wushu spirit abundant from the levels of nation,society and individual.We should also improve the philosophical connotation,making Wushu players combine the development of their careers with the progress of our country and society.The paths of exploration to Wushu spirit's contemporary constructing: 1.We should focus on teaching and pay more attention to the cultivation of Wushu spirit.Among the ways to the cultivate Wushu spirit,teaching may serve as the most important.2.Wushu spirit should be motivated and spread by performances and competitions.The performances and competitions of Wushu may serve as an effective way to spread Wushu spirit.Through the demonstration of outer action and combat of Wushu,the audience can perceive Wushu spirit inside the players.3.As a main channel of propaganda,the media,films and literature serve as a new way to the demonstration of the charm and connotation of Wushu spirit,which could guide the public opinions and help to form cultural atmosphere.
