Contemporary college students are the hope of country and people,bearing the arduous historical mission of to rejuvenate nation and to promotecountry`s prosperity. However, china is in a critical period of social acceleratingtransformation. Under this background, economic structure and social structuredrive the constant change in the national economic ideas and the cultural ideas,which made the people`s values shown a trend of diversification. Collegestudents are easily influenced by non-mainstream culture, making a deviation orerroneous judgment, and forming a distorted values in that they are still in thehalf of ripe staged and their identification ability are weak. The core values ofcollege students are to meet the needs of college students’ group development, toreflect their consensus of views of value ideal and value pursuit. It is based onthe reality and run throughout the future, which is in the dominant position ofthe undergraduates`values. How to put the socialist core values into the valuesof college students? How to effectively resist decay wrong ideological trend, andto efficiently foster college students`core values in all directions?
