Under the background of globalization and informatization,the cultivation mode of education and teaching has changed from the all-around diffusion cultivation mode to the core literacy cultivation,and in the meantime,it has become the theme of the reform and development of basic education.High school is the key period for students to cultivate and form various core qualities.Mathematics is also recognized as the most important subject in the curriculum of basic education schools in various countries and regions.Theref'ore,the cultivation of students'core qualities in mathematics has always been a key and difficult problem in teaching reform and development.In 2018,China's Ministry of Education issued the"General Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)",in which the Ministry of Education defined the six core qualities that students should possess after being educated in mathematics.Specifically,students should have the abilities of mathematical abstraction,mathematical modeling,data analysis,operation,logical reasoning and intuitive imagination when they graduate from high school.As the first of the six qualities,mathematical abstraction plays an important role.Professor Shi Ningzhong believes that mathematics studies abstract things in essence.And for mathematics,mathematical abstraction is not only the most important thought,but also can promote the development of mathematics.For students,mathematical abstraction can help cultivate their rational thinking to discover the essence of the problem more easily.And for teachers,the core literacy——mathematical abstraction runs through the whole process of mathematics teaching.Mathematical concept teaching can best reflect the complete process of mathematical ion.Therefore,this paper studies how to refine and implement the cultivation of students' core qualities of inathematical abstraction in concept teaching.Ellipse is the beginning of students' learning conic curve.In the current high school mathematics textbooks,fixed rope length is used to draw ellipse.Although this method is efficient and concise,the introduction of ellipse is very abrupt,which does not conform to the law of students' cognition of things.As a result,many students do not understand why to draw ellipse in this way.Teaching premise and important foundation of realizing curriculum objectives.For the old teaching concepts and teaching methods,it must seriously hinder the cultivation of students'mathematical abstract literacy.Therefore,this paper chooses ellipse concept as the carrier,stands in the angle of improving students'mathematical abstract literacy,and strives to optimize and improve the introduction of ellipse concept and further studies the strategy of cultivating students'mathematical abstract literacy in the mathematical concept teaching.Through the investigation and analysis of classroom teaching of ellipse concept,we can clearly understand the current situation and existing problems of the cultivation of students'mathematical abstraction in the teaching process of ellipse concept.Based on these,the author puts forward teaching strategies in the four stages of mathematical concept teaching(perceptual knowledge stage,differentiation essence stage,generalization definition stage and application and strengthening stage)from the perspective of mathematical abstract core literacy,and implements the teaching strategies,which is used in the experimental class teaching design,into the process of elliptical concept teaching.We set up a control experiment to verify the effectiveness of the strategy.After the test,we use statistical software to analyze the experimental data.The results show that the test scores,the understanding of-ellipse concept and the level of mathematical abstraction of the experimental class students are significantly higher than those of the control class,and the experimental classroom atmosphere is lively and the students participate actively.So the strategy proposed by the author has certain effect on improving students' abstract mathematics literacy and deepening students'understanding of mathematical concepts.It is hoped to provide some teaching reference for front-line teachers,and provide factual basis and guidance suggestions for the research of educational researchers and the formulation of planning and reform of educational departments.
