As one of the important contents in the field of "Number and Algebra" in the primary school stage,the decimal is not only closely related to integers and scores,but also a bridge connecting the two,and it is widely used in daily life.Among them,decimal multiplication is an important part of decimal knowledge system,and it is also crucial for the subsequent fractional division and fractional multiplication and division.However,in the process of the author’s educational internship,it is found that students have various kinds of learning problems in decimal multiplication.These problems are either general or special,they all reflect the true thinking path of the students and have the value of research.This study examines the domestic and foreign researches on mathematical errors and decimal multiplication errors by consulting relevant literature.Through the preparation of the decimal multiplication knowledge test volume,the students in the fifth grade of one primary school are tested to investigate students in the fractional multiplication learning.Based on the problems and types of errors,in order to improve the research,a self-made questionnaire is used to deeply understand the students’learning status,so as to initially explore the reasons behind the errors,and combine the interviews with teachers from teachers and students.This aspect analyzes the reasons that may cause students to make mistakes in fractional multiplication.The results show that the problems of teachers are mainly weak evidence-based,light algorithm,and mishandling of students.The main reasons for students are mainly From the three aspects of thinking characteristics,knowledge reserve and learning habits,finally,based on the above reasons,this study proposes to reduce the students’ mistakes in the decimal multiplication:(1)pay attention to the students’ mistakes;(2)clarify the concept of decimals;(3)enrich practice form;(4)pay attention to the operation process;(5)pay attention to the reflection of operational errors.
