Social Work Intervention Research On Children's Psychological Trauma Recovery

Children's quality is closely related to social progress,and psychological trauma is one of the factors that hinder children's healthy growth.Under the background that all countries attach great importance to children's development,children's mental health still faces risks from various aspects.Children's physical and mental development is immature,lack the ability to resist crises,and are prone to psychological trauma.However,the social support of this group has not been fully taken into account.In this study,qualitative research was used to understand the social support network of traumatic children,and social work case method was used to intervene traumatic children to help them recover to normal state.Under the guidance of social support theory,this paper uses literature research,observation and interview to collect data and analyze the plight and social support status of traumatic children.This paper divides the existing social support network of traumatic children into formal support and informal support,which are provided by the government,schools,communities,minor protection organizations,and informal support by families,peer groups,relatives and neighbors.On the basis of literature review and in-depth interviews with project managers,social workers,community workers,family members and peers who provide support for traumatized children,the study found that the predicaments faced by traumatized children mainly include neglect,physical discomfort,emotional and behavioral problems,cognitive bias,etc.At the same time,traumatized children were also found.There are some problems,such as insufficient family professional knowledge,insufficient social support system and insufficient processing ability.Based on the above findings,this study identified two traumatized children in T institution as service objects.One of them was diagnosed as post-traumatic stress disorder.After psychological intervention,the stress response was eliminated,but the behavioral problems were still serious.In this study,case study was used to conduct social work intervention for traumatic children with behavioral and emotional problems.Social workers work with other supporters and service objects to help service objects integrate their knowledge of traumatic experiences,improve their emotional and behavioral problems,obtain social support,and realize service objects by improving parental rearing styles,relaxing training for children,exploring inner desires,correcting cognitive biases,and strengthening peer group support.Normal social function.Through two successful social work cases,this study concludes that the social work case method has a good effect on the recovery of children's psychological trauma.Through reflecting on the process of case intervention,this paper provides experience and reference for later social work intervention in traumatic children,and also puts forward many suggestions for optimizing social support for traumatic children.It is expected that intervention strategies can improve the disadvantageous environment of traumatic children,enhance the systematicness and effectiveness of social support for traumatic children,and achieve the goal of healthy development of children.
