Using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,this paper investigates the implementation of " sports and health curriculum standards" in 16 primary and secondary schools in the compulsory education stage in Wanzhou district.The aim is to understand the current situation of the implementation of the " sports and health curriculum standards" in the compulsory education stage in Wanzhou district,analyze the existing problems and the causes of the problems,and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions for improvement,so as to further implement the " sports and health curriculum standards" in compulsory education,deepen the reform of sports and health curriculum,and promote the improvement of the physical health level of young students.The research results show that:(1)the overall situation of PE teachers' team construction in the compulsory education stage in Wanzhou district is good;The number and educational level of physical education teachers can basically meet the needs of physical education and health curriculum teaching in the region.the ratio of men to women is relatively reasonable,but the structure of professional titles of teachers is not very reasonable.(2)most physical education teachers in Wanzhou district have a better understanding of the new round of basic education curriculum reform and the compulsory education " sports and health curriculum standards",but the implementation of curriculum standards is not enough.(3)at the stage of compulsory education in Wanzhou district,physical education teachers can implement the teaching content,teaching methods,teaching organization forms,curriculum evaluation and other aspects according to the guidance of curriculum standards,but generally reflect that the most difficult to achieve in terms of teaching objectives is the goal in the field of mental health and social adaptation.(4)in the compulsory education stage in Wanzhou district,physical education teachers have developed and utilized physical education and health curriculum resources to a certain extent,but have neglected the development and utilization of natural geographical resources and sports information resources.According to the analysis and research,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:(1)to strengthen the physical education classroom teaching and to strengthen the leadership and execution of the curriculum.(2)developing school-based characteristic courses to promote the connotation development and characteristic development of school sports.(3)to construct an operational mechanism for professional growth of P.E.teachers.(4)increase investment and improve teaching conditions.
