The Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)explicitly takes "critical reading and expression" as one of the 18 learning task groups,which requires teachers to pay attention to cultivate students’ critical thinking ability in the process of guiding students to read and express.Critical reading teaching is a kind of reading teaching method that the current Chinese reading teaching circle pays closely attention to it.It is according to the requirements of the new curriculum standard and core accomplishment,it is emphasized to cultivate students’ critical thinking ability during the teaching process.Novel is known as the "encyclopedia of life",in which the various states of life are presented.Reading the novel can experience other people’s lives and enrich one’s own experience."There are a thousand hamlets for a thousand readers," but "Hamlet" is not fanciful or groundless.Therefore,the teaching of critical reading is introduced into the teaching of novel reading.Under the guidance of teachers,students can boldly question,reasonably verify,analyze,judge and synthesize the text based on close reading,so as to form a rational and well-grounded personalized interpretation,and improve their reading ability and critical thinking ability.The author selected three Chinese teachers,T1,T2 and T3 of grade one and two classes taught by T1 teacher as research objects in H middle school of Beijing.The classroom observation method is mainly used to investigate the classroom development status of fiction critical reading teaching in grade one of H middle school.The case analysis method is used to analyze the teaching experience and shortcomings in the teaching of critical reading of novels in grade one of H middle school,and proposes optimization strategies for improving the teaching status of critical reading teaching of novels in grade one of H middle school.This study is divided into four parts,the main contents are as follows:The first part is introduction,including four aspects:the origin and significance of the research;the definition of core concepts;the research status at home and abroad;and the research design.The second part is an overview of the critical reading teaching of high school novels,including the necessity,feasibility and characteristics of the critical reading teaching on high school novels.The third part is the teaching status and critical reading of novels in the first grade of H middle school.It makes a detailed introduction from three aspects:close reading of texts before class,cooperative interpretation between teachers and students in class,and micro-writing after class.On this basis,the teaching experience and shortcomings are summarized.The fourth part is the optimization strategy for the teaching of fiction critical reading in grade one of H middle school,and puts forward Suggestions for improving the current situation of fiction critical reading teaching in grade one of H middle school.
