The hand-held technology experiment is not only an important platform for the application of information technology but also a new approach in chemistry teaching and learning.All these experiments manifest the characteristics of the novel form,simple operation,rich content,strong inquiry,convenient and fast data processing,etc.This research explores effective methods to promote the application of hand-held technology experiments in chemical secondary education using the theories of constructivist,teaching optimization,multiple intelligence and cone of experience to investigate the issues which are reported from the senior and middle school teachers in an online questions survey.Firstly,classify all the experiments listed in the high school textbook which is published by the People's Education Press as three types:theoretical experiments,elemental compound preparation and properties experiments,and industrial and life relative experiments.Secondly,apply the six typical hand-held technology experiments which are designed and selected based on the classifications in middle school chemistry teaching.Then,evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of using the new teaching model by analyzing the students' results differentials and conducting students' interviews.At last,present the result to guide teachers use the hand-held technology experiment in their teaching practice.
