The new curriculum standard of senior high school lays particular emphasis on the development of core literacy and the cultivation of computational thinking. The contents of information technology courses, such as programming, skills operation and information processing, require students to have the ability of computational thinking in order to better understand. Therefore,it is extremely important to cultivate students’ computational thinking in the course of information technology and meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard of high school.PAD is a new educational model proposed in recent years, which can accomplish the teaching goal by teaching internalization to students and organizing discussions with teachers. In the teaching process,it can pay attention to students’ problems such as poor foundation and solidified thinking, reduce the burden of students and let students learn to think actively. This paper proposes a teaching plan for cultivating high school students’ computational thinking in the course of information technology with the mode of PAD:Firstly, starting from the five core elements of computational thinking: algorithm thinking, abstract thinking, decomposition thinking, generalization thinking and evaluation thinking, the teaching mode is divided into four parts: pre-class preparation,in-class teaching,after-class internalization and in-class discussion.Among them, preclass preparation includes five steps: planning outline, analyzing learning situation, refining course content, arranging micro-assignments and no preview.Teaching in class includes four notes: frame-based elaboration, logical process planning,no questions and appropriate blanks. After class internalization includes drawing maps, independent assignments and filling in forms,"liang kao bang",inferences, etc.;The discussion in class includes four steps: class review, group discussion, free questioning and cooperative inquiry, and teacher answering questions. Then, from the perspective of cultivating computational thinking, two teaching cases of basic programming and software operation of information technology courses are designed by using the mode of PAD.Among them, the programming case design takes the selection structure and loop structure of basic programming grammar as examples, and is divided into four core contents, namely, establishment of the calculation model, decomposition design algorithm and transformation of computer language. The operation case design takes the basic application of Photoshop and Flash as an example, which is divided into five core contents: abstract problem, functional decomposition, planning process, step implementation and detection improvement. Finally, the comparison class and the experimental class were set up to carry out the teaching practice of the same teaching content.By collecting subjective survey, interview and objective data for comparative analysis,it was found that the students’ ability to solve the same problem, the mastery degree of classroom content and the index of independent completion were significantly improved, and their computational thinking ability was improved significantly. The research shows that the teaching scheme proposed in this paper to cultivate high school students’ computational thinking in the information technology curriculum by the mode of PAD is effective, especially in the weak teaching environment with poor teaching conditions, teachers and students’ foundation. Therefore, the research results of this paper can provide a certain reference for middle school information technology teachers.
