The nature of science is an important part of the core accomplishment of physics which is “scientific attitude and responsibility”,it is an important method of training students' core qualities of physics to educate students through scientific education.High school physics textbook is an important tool in practical teaching,which has the most direct relationship with students' construction and cultivation of the nature of science.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the presentation of the nature of science of the textbook.The study organizes the existing relevant articles,defines the nature of science in the field of philosophy of science and science education,and constructs the evaluation framework of the nature of science based on Liu Jianzhi et al.'s viewpoint of the nature of science.The presentation of nature of science in high school physics textbooks published by people's education press in 2004 and high school physics textbooks published in 2019 were quantitatively compared by the framework.On the basis of the quantified results,the study makes a more detailed qualitative analysis of the content of the two editions of textbooks,and describes the presentation differences between the two editions in these dimensions.Finally,based on the comparison,some conclusions are drawn,and some Suggestions are put forward for the improvement and use of 2019 edition textbooks.The conclusions of the study are as follows:1.In terms of scientific knowledge,the textbook of 2019 has more contents and better presentation effects on the dimensions of "accumulative" and "predictable";The content is more concise,in line with the development of science,and strengthens the long-term accumulation of scientific knowledge,as well as the interpretation and prediction of scientific knowledge for the objective world.2.In terms of scientific exploration,the textbook of 2019 presents more content and shows a higher level of "empirical" and "creative" presentation.We should strengthen the presentation of the methods of "observation","experiment" and other proofs of scientists' innovative spirit in scientific research,and emphasize that science is not static,objective and completely correct.3.In terms of science careers,the textbook of 2019 presents more contents and has a higher level of presentation in the dimensions of "science and society" and "science and technology".This shows that the textbook of 2019 strengthens the connection between physics knowledge and students' daily life,and emphasizes the importance of education in the ethical and moral aspects of the nature of science.4.In terms of the nature of science,both the two editions of textbooks present each dimension of the nature of science and correspond to the contemporary view of the nature of science in the field of philosophy of science.However,the presentation of the two editions of textbooks on scientific exploration and scientific career is slightly weak.5.In terms of the presentation of each volume of the textbook.The present situation of each volume in the textbook of 2019 has made some progress,but two editions of textbooks insufficient attention is paid to the presentation of scientific essence in compulsory 3.6.In terms of the presentation of each chapter of the textbook.In the two editions of textbooks only some chapters(such as the preface and the section on universal gravitation,etc.)have a good presentation of the nature of science,while the remaining chapters do not pay enough attention to the presentation of the nature of science.The recommendations of this study are as follows:1.Optimize the presentation of scientific exploration.2.Properly handle the presentation of the nature of science in each unit of textbook.3.Properly increase the procedure to help student grasp the nature of science.4.Supplement the unit that lacks the nature of science in textbooks in practical teaching.5.Guide students to pay attention to the nature of science in textbooks.
