The nature of science is an important part of "scientific attitude and responsibility" in the core literacy of physics.Students need to have a certain concept of nature of science to improve their core literacy.The nature of science should not only be put forward in curriculum standards and courses,but also be presented in textbooks as learning resources to help teachers plan and implement scientific teaching,so as to achieve curriculum objectives.After referring to a large number of documents,this study determines the index definition and analysis framework of the nature of science in this study,and compares and analyzes the representation of the nature of science in the compulsory physics textbooks of senior high school People's Education Edition and Education Science Edition from three aspects: content level,presentation position and representation mode.Through the analysis found that:(1)with the students' gradual learning,the contextual relevance and language clarity of the nature of science in the textbooks of People's Education Edition before and after the class are gradually reduced,and the content of scientific knowledge is changed from the concrete and intuitive illustration representation to the abstract representation of concepts and hands-on and brain.For the Education Science Edition,the contextual relevance of the Volume 2 textbook is slightly higher than that of the other two textbooks,showing the development trend of mountain shape,the language expression is gradually clear,the indicators of scientific knowledge and scientific process are gradually changing from intuitive representation to abstract representation.(2)The first volume of People's Education Edition has the most content of nature of science,The contents of the following two volumes are similar,and there are obvious differences in the contents of the three volumes of Education Science Edition textbooks.Moreover,the content of the textbook of the People's Education Edition 1 is more than that of the textbook of the Education Science Edition 1,and the content of the nature of science in Volumes 2 and 3 of the Education Science Edition is more than that in Volumes 2 and 3 of the People's Education Edition.The two editions of textbooks show similar trends in the positions of text,sidebar notes and example exercises,and different rules in other positions.(3)The two editions of textbooks have many same characteristics: the content of observation and inference is large,the contextual relevance and clarity of language are relatively good;Although there is less space for demonstration and diversity of methods,the content is highly relevant,the degree of spiral is high,and the language expression is relatively clear;There are many times of scientific modeling,but its content is less relevant and more independent;Although the content of scientific and cultural indicators has low contextual relevance,the length of content and the clarity of language description are relatively good;The content of scientific spirit is highly correlated,and it is generally represented in a more vague way.There are many contents of scientific knowledge in the text,and there are many indicators related to scientific career in other positions.Each index is more represented by concept law,text examples and illustration tables.(4)The two editions of textbooks also have a lot of different characteristics: the number of nature of science contents in the Education Science Edition textbooks is more than that the People's Education Edition textbooks,while the contents of creativity,diversity of methods,scientific modeling and scientific spirit are relatively less.The contextual relevance of the textbook language of the Education Science Edition is weaker than that in the People's Education Edition textbooks,but the language is clearer.The nature of science content in the People's Education Edition textbooks is more evenly distributed,and the nature of science content of Education Science Edition textbooks appears more in the text and after-school expansion.The nature of science in the People's Education Edition textbooks is more stated in the way of concept law and learning history.The Education Science Edition textbooks represent the nature of science in the way of text examples,illustration tables,hands-on operation and brain exploration.
