The issue of emotional intelligence and job satisfaction has attracted many people's attention and research,and the study of Special Education Teachers in Western minority areas,as a profession with high emotional labor,has unique theoretical and practical significance,however,in the field of special education teachers,there is no independent research on the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction.This research takes the special education teachers in the Western minority areas as the research object,uses the self-made emotional intelligence scale,the teacher job satisfaction scale to carry on the research,committed to understanding the emotional intelligence and job satisfaction of special education teachers in Western minority areas,and explore the relationship between them,with a view to the Western minority areas of special education teachers to provide a theoretical basis for work.This research USES the self-made questionnaire "special education teachers in western minority regions,the emotional intelligence questionnaire" and "primary and secondary school teachers' job satisfaction scale for special education teachers in western minority regions,the questionnaire investigation,description of the collected data is using software Spss19.0 statistical analysis,regression analysis,etc.,aims to understand the special education in western minority regions,the current situation of teachers' emotional intelligence,job satisfaction and the relationship between the two variables.A total of 230 questionnaires were collected in this survey,among which 218 were valid,with an effective rate of 98.6%.Findings:(1)The self-compiled questionnaire "emotional intelligence of teachers in special education schools in western minority areas" includes five dimensions,including self-understanding emotional,self-emotion management,self-motivation,cognition of others' emotions,and the ability to deal with interpersonal relations,with 30 items.The reliability and validity are relatively ideal.(2)The emotional intelligence of special education teachers in the western minority areas is in the middle level,and there are significant differences among different genders,professional backgrounds,professional titles,weekly teaching sessions and teaching years.(3)The job satisfaction of teachers of special education is in the middle level,among which,there are significant differences in whether they are teachers of special education,teaching age and educational background.(4)Emotional intelligence is an important factor affecting the job satisfaction of teachers in western special education.The research shows that the total score and each dimension of emotional intelligence are positively correlated with the self-realization,leadership relationship and colleague relationship of job satisfaction.It is suggested that the educational administration should pay attention to the development of emotional intelligence in the Western minority areas,and incorporate emotional intelligence into the training system of special education teachers The school should continue to strengthen the management system and the evaluation incentive mechanism,and attach importance to the incentive of Special Education Teachers;the school should strengthen the system management,the humanized management and other measures to help special education teachers improve the relationship between colleagues and leaders,reasonable adjustment of the workload to meet the needs of self-realization of special education teachers,improve the job satisfaction of teachers.
