The information era has presented new challenges for the cultivation of talents in each country.In the transitional process of China from big education power to great education power,how to improve students abilities in high-level thinking,creativity and practice has become the emphasis for a new round of educational reform study.Under such circumstances,Chinese College Entrance Exam Evaluation System proposed the transfer from pure exam evaluation to the important carrier of morality education and essential link in quality education.However,the present exam-oriented educational ideas still hinders the implementation of core qualities.As a result,the exploration of effective ways to implement core geographic qualities starting from analysis on geographical exams for college entrance examination is of great significance.The analysis on geographical exam features under the theoretical background of core qualities in SOLO classification theory enables college entrance exam to play a positive and active role in geographical teaching in middle school,which is an important approach to implementing the fundamental task of morality education.The specific details include the following five parts.First of all,the literature research method is used to confirm relation contents and connotations.The research situation home and abroad of the application of SOLO classification theory in geography is summarized.It is found that the construction of case library of geographical teaching,test and answers based on SOLO classification theory needs further supplementation.Secondly,the questionnaire research method is used with geography teachers in middle schools as research objects to make investigations on the application situation of SOLO classification theory by teachers through questionnaires.It is found that middle school geography teachers still have immature understanding about SOLO classification theory.The differentiation ability between multipoint structural tests and relevant structural tests needs further improvement.Thirdly,based on SOLO classification theory,theory of multiple intelligence,cognition-finding learning theory,combined with the practical situation of geographical tests for college entrance exams,geographical tests SOLO structural divided evaluation criterion is confirmed.The subjective geographical items in 2015-2019 National I test,II test and Tianjin Test are taken as objects and statistical analysis method is adopted to systemize and analyze perspectives and ways to assess core qualities in geography.It is proposed that there are most geographical test questions are on multipoint structural level or relevant structural level.Through comparison between relevant structural level test and multipoint structural level test,it is found that the real,complicated,ill-structured situation,small incision,and highly directive questions are key to assess high-level thinking of students.Based on this,the evaluation standard andanswer design under the SOLO classification theory is designed,and the approaches and methods for teachers to cultivate students' high-level thinking are suggested.Fourthly,the case analysis method is applied to propose the teaching strategy oriented at geographical exams for college entrance conforming to core qualities: first,under the overall teaching strategy of 4C/ID pattern,take integrated teaching contents as entry point to cultivate students comprehensive thinking and their ability to solve complicated questions under real and ill-structured situations;confirm supportive information,procedure information and exercise test according to students' basic information and learning task features;design learning evaluation.Secondly,focus on question teaching strategy of problem solving.Thirdly,under the geographical teaching strategy penetrated by SOLO classification theory,start from students' psychology,the learning objectives are divided under the guidance of SOLO classification theory,and the teaching cases conforming to SOLO classification theory is designed.Fifthly,the ideas in the thesis is summarized,based on which,it is suggested that further development and detailed expectation are in need in order to reinforce mastering geography test tendency for college entrance and its connections with practical teaching.
